The Real Color Mixer application provides a realistic simulation of mixing various types of paints, such as oil or acrylic, allowing users to preview the resulting colors without the need for physical mixing. Unlike the additive mixing process utilized in RGB color models, the Real Color Mixer offers a distinct approach. Combining red, green, and blue in this application does not produce white or black colors; instead, the resulting mixture depends on the specific tones used and can yield colors like dark khaki.

The Real Color Mixer utilizes the spectrum of light and incorporates information about reflected and absorbed light to achieve its mixing results. This results in accurate simulations and allows for a range of creative possibilities.

The Real Color Mixer interface allows users to add colors to the "mixer color" panel by pressing and dragging the desired color. Adjusting the mixing ratio is simple with the plus (+) or minus (-) buttons. A single press increases or decreases the amount of a specific color by one unit, while a longer press alters the ratio by 10 units.

The calculator function is especially useful for precise measurements. By inputting the desired amount of mixture, users can calculate the necessary quantities of component paints. The volume unit can be defined according to personal preferences setting options (Lit, Fluid ounce, Gallon, Pint, Quarter).
